Delivery times
UPDATED 21st OCTOBER
Once again, our fulfilment partners are warning us that delivery times are taking longer. Previously, this was down to COVID and staff shortages. Now this is being attributed to Royal Mail strikes.
The Royal Mail handle more parcels than all the other couriers combined. So with the previous strikes combined with them going on strike for 3 further days in November, this is going to mean all other couriers systems will be overloaded.
The strike dates are as follows – Wednesday 2 November, Thursday 3 November and Friday 4 November.
With this in mind, we are urging our customers to allow more time for delivery. Under normal circumstances, we allow 1-2 days for delivery, we are now asking you to allow 2-4 days. The actual time will depend upon individual depots and how they cope.
In summary, orders will and are getting through but taking longer than expected. Some orders are being partially delivered across two deliveries.
Please bear with us while we work with APC to address this backlog. Your order will get to you. If you are still worried about your orders status, pls email us at help@float.delivery and we will chase them for an update.
We really do appreciate you our customers and we are doing everything within our power to get the situation sorted and back to normal as soon as possible.
