We set up Float because… we all need milk right? 🥛
We got tired of running low on milk. Making tea and then seeing no one had left any milk in the fridge. So we thought, why don’t we just get it delivered? Regularly?
We got sick of carting litres of milk home from the supermarket. 🏋️
We’re as fond of the gym as anyone. But combining weight lifting with the stress of shopping got a little tired for us. So we decided to let someone else lug our litres of milk home.
Then we thought, if we’re going to get our milk delivered, why not get milk and all the other bits in one go? 🥣 ☕ 🍪
So we put together some of our favourite coffee & tea brands, cereals and while we were at it, we all love a biscuit (or three) right?
Why do we sell JUST MILK?
Good question. Well, because we genuinely think JUST MILK is the best out there. We think it tastes as delicious as traditional chilled milk but is long life and doesn’t need all the refrigeration whilst it’s being stored and transported. Meaning it’s better for the planet as well as a healthy choice for us.🥛🌎
It is simply long life because most of the bacteria found in milk is removed as it’s quickly heated up (to 140°C to be precise) and then quickly cooled. This process is called Ultra Heat Treatment (UHT) and this removes the bacteria but not the taste. In fact, it’s won awards for its taste. 😋
